Our volunteers have been busily preparing for our 5th Annual Beagle Bash.  Their hard work should pay off with a great time for you and your beagle (or beagle wannabe).  The beautiful Countryside Kennels has again donated the use of their grounds for this great event.  There is a large fenced area where your beagle can channel his inner pack member... running and sniffing till his/her heart's content!

There will be treats for dogs and humans alike!  Our chef volunteers will prepare your hot dog and/or burger to your liking.  The Bean and Bentley Bakery will offer home-make snacks and tasty morsels, and there will also be a "watering  hole."

The Beagle Shop will also be open with cute "beagley" items for sale!

 Sherrie's Chuck Wagon will serve up delicious food and drink!

Here are some of the things to expect:

**Good Canine Citizen testing!  You can have it on official paper and brag about it!

**This year we'll host a Costume Contest.  We've got two themes... Heroes and International.  Hint:  Judging will favor costumes that are homemade rather  than store purchased.  Let's see how creative you can be!

**Anne Wills of Dogs Finding Dogs will do a demonstration for us and give us tips on what to do if your dog runs off or goes missing.  If you missed the demonstration last year, you'll get a chance to see it this time.

**There will be a silent auction for two round trip airline tickets, good on flights anywhere in the continental US until the end of October 2011 courtesy of Southwest Airlines!

**LIVE AUCTION!!!!  X-BOX 360!
