Mosby early on at his first Petsmart event

Mosby came to us vastly undernourished, as the photos to the bottom left attest.  Now bathed and well fed, he has picked up weight and his hair is filling in.  The newer photos reflect what good food, a bath and some affection will accomplish.  Mosby's a new man!

Mosby has clearly known mistreatment in his short life.  For all his unfortunate background, he is a gentle soul - outgoing and friendly in a guarded sort of way.  He is beginning to be optimistic about what life may hold for him.

He is GREAT with the other dogs in rescue, as well as the cats.  He is not kid tested, but his history would suggest that if a family with children is in his future, he'd want the kids to be the gentle sort - the kind that don't do a lot of screaming or rough play.

Mosby is a nice dog who deserves a chance for a good life.  It would do him well to have a home where he will be regularly exercised.

Adoptive Status:  Neutered, UTD on shots and heartworm negative.  Will be microchipped upon adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Mosby has been abused in his past and needs a home that will be patient as he adjusts to new circumstances.  He is quite frightened and unsure of himself when placed in a public situation.  He'll need patience while overcoming this.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Patient beginner.
