Name

Morgan is a tiny, beautiful beagle/dachshund mix. She has an exuberant personality; her tail wags constantly unless she is sleeping! She is very people-bonded and is happy just knowing someone is nearby. She loves to snuggle and be petted, and she's always happy to greet you with kisses when you come home. Morgan gets along well with other dogs and loves gentle children.

Morgan is unfortunately suffering from the most-dreaded outcome of heartworm disease. She requires medication twice daily to keep her symptoms under control. Her long-term prognosis is uncertain, but with her current medical treatment she is enjoying a comfortable and very happy life. She is active, and loves to do all sorts of beagle-y things, like barking at bunnies, chewing on rawhides, and running through the yard with her canine friends.

Morgan is seeking a home of her own, with humans who will provide her the medical care she needs and lots of affection.

Adoptive Status: Morgan has her bags packed and is ready for her permanent home.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Morgan wants a home where she will be coddled a little bit. She also needs someone who will be attentive to her medical concerns.

Owner Aptitude Level: Morgan is an easy dog to love, but she does need someone dedicated to making sure she gets her daily meds.
