Meet Mikey.  Mikey and his sister Mae came into rescue as part of a package deal with their mother.  Mom was a beagle and dad was a larger breed, possibly Australian Cattle Dog.  We can't be sure, but he does resemble that mix.

Mikey is a very nice boy.  He's all about playing and galumphing around with his foster siblings.  He's a friendly guy, occasionally trotting up to his foster mom for a scratch on the head before heading off to play again.

We would prefer to place Mikey in a home with a tall, secure fence.  He is not yet leash trained and would probably benefit from learning in the security of a fence yard.  Because of his size and activity level, we feel that prior dog experience would be beneficial to whomever adopts him.

Adoptive Status:  Neutered, UTD on shots, Heartworm Negative and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Mikey would love a home with people who will watch over and protect him, make sure that he's regularly vetted, and gosh, if he could have another dog to play with, that would be swell!

Owner Aptitude Level:  Prior dog experience is preferable.
