Merriweather George
came to us after being dumped on a farm. The dump-er forgot to remove
his phone number from her hunting collar (duh!), and the good Samaritan who
found her called the owner. The man said, "No, I don't have any
beagles anymore...I gave her away...I don't remember who to...yeah...that's
it...don't call here again..."
It's possible that she
was dumped because she started having seizures. She has been on a very
low dose of Phenobarbital and the seizures have stopped.
Mary would prefer a
home where she is welcome to sit on the sofa. She's quiet and a bit on
the shy side. She is an easy, easy, easy girl to have around.
She sleeps on the bed next to her foster mom. She's willing to sleep
in as late as you do. She's cuddly and all things wonderful.
She'll make someone a great companion.
Adoptive Status:
Will be spayed, UTD on shots and micro-chipped within
two weeks after the posted date. She is also scheduled to have a
dental done in March.
Dream Home Minimum
Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her. Her
medications require a minimum of expense.
Owner Aptitude Level:
Beginner.
