Lucky was heartworm positive when he came to BRSM.  He has completed treatment and is now happily enjoying the freedom to run.  (Heartworm positive dogs must be kept calm and physically inactive during the course of treatment.) 

He's doing quite well.  He's a happy little dog and gets along well with everyone.  The resident dogs in his foster home can be a bit bossy, but Lucky takes it in stride.   After such a long confinement, he is thoroughly enjoying having the run of the yard.  He runs around sniffing, come back to his foster family or the other dogs, then takes off sniffing again.

Lucky is crate trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside or is hungry.  If he is baying and you tell him to be quiet, he will.  He won't jump up on you, but will lift his front feet off the ground to try to reach up for a pat.  Lucky is a very sweet boy and will fit in just about anywhere. 

Adoptive Status: Lucky is ready for his forever home.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love him.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner.
