Hi!  My name is Little Peanut!  My foster mom found me wandering in the streets of Manassas, VA; so she took me in and boy, am I glad she did!  I don't hear or see very well, but I feel so much better now that I've been to the vet and am getting good food.  I needed a few teeth pulled and the rest cleaned.  And now that I'm neutered and up to date on my shots, I'm ready to be adopted into a calm and loving home.  You see, I'm about 10 years old and really just want to keep someone company, go for walks, and sniff around.  Life sure is nice when you feel healthy and loved.  Will you let me come and keep you company?

Peanut is a quiet (except when it's feeding time), 22 lb. Beagle mix.  He is great with kids and other dogs, is crate-trained and house trained.  He follows his foster mom around the yard like a puppy.  He would be a great addition for a retired couple who just wants to have a pal around.

Adoptive Status:  Neutered, UTD on shots.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love him.  Oh, yes...Peanut requires a securely fenced yard.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner.
