Elmo is a sweet baby boy.  Although he is just a baby and his energy levels reflect that, with lots of play and exercise he is quite happy to cuddle sweetly on our lap for petting and smooching sessions.  Then he'll crash out at night in his crate for a long sleep.  As most puppies do, Elmo does "mouth" a bit, but not as much as one would expect for his young age.  He has no fear of his furry or human foster siblings and is quite content to run and play with them all.

Elmo is a beagle mixed with pure love...large love!  He came into rescue with his sister Zoey and his brother Grover.  Our best guesstimate at this point is that he will be approximately 50-60 pounds when grown, as his paws are as big as his heart!

Please get your applications in as he is eager to read them and choose his perfect forever family.

As we tell all potential adopters of puppies, while they may be the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life, we ask that only SERIOUS adopters apply; i.e. those that will be committed for the dog's entire lifespan and not just until adulthood or inconvenient.  We will not reply to puppy inquiries, but only completed applications.  Please read our Standards for Adoption.  Preference will be given to experienced dog owners.

Due to the activity and noise level that usually accompanies a healthy puppy, we will not place puppies in condos or apartments.

Adoptive Status:  Neutered, UTD on shots and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements:  A home experienced in dog care would be preferable.  Puppies are a lot of work!

Owner Aptitude Level:  Patience is needed to train a puppy.
