Edgar is a sweet, loving, very people bonded dog who doesn't understand why his family abandoned him after years of faithful companionship.  He and his life-long mate were dropped at the shelter when their family split up.  His mate was later reclaimed by a family member, but Edgar was left behind. 

We think that Edgar would be happiest as an only dog, or maybe one non-aggressive other.  When we say he is a nice boy, we're not just making it up.  The shelter staff were so taken by his sweet personality that they worked very hard to get him into rescue.  For one so unceremoniously dumped, this boy smiles.....a lot.

Edgar deserves a good home with someone who will love him for the rest of his life.  Could you be that someone?

Adoptive Status:  Neutered and UTD on shots.   Will be micro-chipped by adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: We'd prefer to place Edgar in an adult home.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner.
