This handsome boy found his way into rescue from the Franklin County Animal Shelter (VA) when his time was up.  CJ (as his foster mom calls him) is a sweet, playful pup.  He is quite smart and is quickly learning his house manners.

CJ did very well with crate training in his first foster home, but he is currently not crated at all.  He is confined to one room of the house while his humans are at work.  He sleeps soundly through the night on his own bed in the bedroom.

In his puppy exuberance, he is likely to knock small children over, but once he learns not to jump up, he will be a wonderful playmate.  CJ truly is just a pup, so will need patient encouragement as he learns the ways of the household.  If he is not supplied with proper chew toys, he will eat your sofa.

He gets along great with other dogs, but has not been cat tested.  He would probably love a cat, but Kitty may be a bit intimidated by his playfulness at first. 

CJ is a very sweet boy.  He's friendly, happy, outgoing, and looking for his own family to love. 

Adoptive Status:  Neutered, UTD on shots and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love him.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner who understands that his is a PUPPY and will be patient as he learns and matures.
