Carlee is a gorgeous foxhound.  At only a year and a half old she is still playfully puppy-like.  She's very affectionate and would make an ideal companion for another playful dog of similar age, as well as children.  She reminds her foster mom of a young teenager - all legs and not quite sure how to use them.

Carlee's foster mom has worked hard with her.  She knows basic commands such as, "sit, stay, lay down, and come."  She is crate trained, and she knows to conduct her business outside - even if it's raining.  She's a long-legged girl, though, with a boarding house reach, so we don't recommend that you leave your pork chops thawing on the kitchen counter.  Her long legs would make her a great jogging partner, but she hasn't yet (and her foster mom hasn't put the idea in her head, either) figured out that those long legs make her capable of jumping the baby gates in her home.

Carlee is a love and will make someone a wonderful pet.

Carlee is still a puppy with puppy energy and enthusiasm.  For this reason, we would hesitate to place her in an apartment or condo.

Adoptive Status:  Spayed, UTD on shots and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Carlee needs a fenced yard or a human who will keep her on lead when she goes outside.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner.
