Buddy's foster mom rescued Buddy from a puppy mill auction.  Buddy gets along very well with his canine and feline siblings, and he is quite attached to his foster mom.  He was obviously a pet and  has been loved by someone.  Perhaps because he was uprooted from his home, he suffers from separation anxiety.  He prefers to be in a "safe" covered crate when his foster mom is not at home...and he will howl and bark when he feels he is alone.

Buddy loves to cuddle and longs to be a lap dog.  He is house trained...albeit with a doggy door at his disposal.  

Adoptive Status:  Neutered and UTD on shots.  Will be micro-chipped by adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Buddy would be happiest as an only dog, as he gets a little jealous when sharing his human's lap, and he will definitely need someone who can spend time with him and help him  adjust to a new (and for him frightening) situation.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Patient beginner who is willing to work with him.
