You may recognize right off that Buddy is NOT a Beagle.  In fact, Buddy just happens to be a Tibetan Spaniel!  Really!  We're not making that up!

Buddy was found wandering in Somerset County, MD.  His name tag had a disconnected New York telephone number.  We did locate his former vet (in Up State NY) who told us that Buddy is a Tibetan Spaniel who is 12 years old.

Buddy gets along with all living things.  He is house trained and very quiet.  He had recently been groomed when we found him, but his fur is beginning to grow out.  If Buddy is not deaf, he is at least very hard of hearing.  Otherwise, he seems to be in very good health.

Buddy loves to be held and is the perfect size to do so.
