Boone is a handsome fellow who was quite lucky to be able to get out of a rural shelter in Kentucky with a doomed fate and make it into rescue with Beagle Maryland.  Boone is a beagle mix with gorgeous amber eyes.  Boone is very shy and will need a patient home to help him overcome his shyness and learn to trust humans again.  Once you have his trust, he is affectionate and loving.

Because Boone is so shy, he will only be placed in a home with a fenced yard. 

Please give this guy a chance; he has made great progress in his foster home, so we have no doubt that in a permanent home he will only continue to open up and trust again.   Recommend a home with older children; good with other dogs.                   

Adoptive Status: He is neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Boone will require some time and commitment to overcome his shyness.  He will fare best in a home where another non-aggressive dog is present.

Owner Aptitude Level: Intermediate.
