Bailey is a handsome lemon beagle with a terrific temperament.  He is proven good with children and is very much a friendly, genial fellow.  He is fairly well behaved and knows to conduct his business outside.

Sadly, Bailey's former owners were overwhelmed with many children and an inability to keep up with bills, so vetting the dog fell to the bottom of their to-do list.

Bailey has recently recovered from a horrific ear infection in both ears, as well as a skin condition.  Both had caused him incessant scratching resulting in hair loss to his ears, neck, and around his eyes.  With proper veterinary care, the itching has ceased and his hair has grown back nicely.  He's even dropped 4 pounds in his new environment!  He looks great!

This is a very people bonded dog.  He likes nothing more than to be in the company of humans.  At night he prefers to sleep in the same room with you, if not in the same bed.  Bailey truly loves children and has the energy to keep up with them.  He likes toys, too, but mostly he likes to play tug-of-war with them-and you.

Bailey has left a considerable bet bill in his wake.  If you can contribute to his care, please consider a donation for his vetting.
