Zoey and her friend Rosalind were both left at the night drop at the local shelter with a note saying that they'd been hanging about and getting into the trash.  They must have been on their own for quite awhile, as they were both bedraggled, filthy, and famished.  On her first day at Beagle rescue, Miss Zoey had a good meal, a bath, and a pedicure and now she feels like a new woman!  Zoey is friendly, outgoing, and very easygoing.  She gets along great with her new roommates, as well as the cats.  Because she's such a tiny thing, we would prefer to place her with gentle, older children who have been taught to treat pets kindly.

Adoptive Status:  Will be spayed, UTD on shots, Heartworm Negative and micro-chipped by adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her.  A non-roughhousing home would be best.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Easy beginner.  Zoey would make a great first dog.
