After falling in love with Snuggles while she was being fostered by our neighbors, we decided to adopt her in April.  Since that time, Snuggles has found her place in our family.  She was incredibly timid when we first met her and she feared everything and everyone.  Her foster family did an incredible job with her and with their help, we were able to continue the work they started.  Snuggles joined Honey, our four year old beagle, and Lily, our three year old beagle.  Although she is still a bit skittish, she has made incredible progress.  She loves to romp and play with her sisters and has bonded with everyone in the family (although she's still a little timid with Dad!).  Her walking partner is Donovan, our 8 year old son.  They are a wonderful team, and she does a great job on her leash for him.  We did encounter one surprise with Snuggles.  When we adopted her it was though that she as approximately 2 or 3 years old.  After a recent tooth infection and trip to the vet for a dental cleaning, we were told that she's actually closer to 8 or 9 years old.  It didn't matter to us, though.  Young or old, she had our hearts from the start!  And best of all she still gets to see her foster family every day.  She is a wonderful dog and we're grateful that she's ours!
