1/5/06 - It's been over a month since Chelsea (Satchel) has been with me. She's been a joy to have in my life. She is the sweetest dog I've ever met, and her quirks always make me laugh. She likes to sleep in, and I often have to not only wake her up, but carry her out of bed to go outside. When we're around, she's always right by my side. She isn't much of a licker, but sure loves to snuggle and nuzzle. She'll have very energetic spurts where she chases her greenie around and bounces back and forth on the rug.

I haven't heard her bark except for one time when she saw cats and bunnies, and I was holding her tight. Otherwise, she's content to stay quietly by my side. Now that she's been getting really good quality food on a consistent basis, her coat is very soft and shiny.

She is spoiled with many different beds for her in the house, and many toys, but she's not a chewer (except for the occasional greenie). She's been a terrific dog so far, and I love her. I've taken her home to my family, to work, and to so many friends' places, and she's been terrific everywhere. The other day my roommates told me that I can never move out, or at least I'd have to leave her with them. Everyone loves her.

I've sent along some pictures of her that were taken over the holidays. I just wanted to thank BeagleMaryland for bringing such a wonderful dog into our lives!
