We wanted to take a
minute and give you a follow-up on our two
children you helped us adopt. Hershey and Rose.
We were adopted as parents to Hershey, in 2004. She filled a void in
our lives and took to our house instantly. With her, came other
news- she was having a sister soon. My wife and I found out within
days of Hershey's arrival of our pregnancy. We had always wanted a
child, and one raised with animals. Our dream was coming true.
Hershey turned out to be a daddy's little girl. She sits on my lap,
and sleeps with me both in bed and on my recliner.
As our daughters grew (hershey and new playpal Kylie), we found we
had the room for maybe another addition to our family. You see, the
love between my wife and myself has only grown deeper with the
additions to our family. Hershey was actually our second puppy. Big
brother Bailey, was our introduction to beagles. He still rules the
house (then mommy, then kylie, then maybe me) and he said he was
comfortable with us having another baby- beagle that is.
So, as painful as it is to look at the 4 legged friends on your site
(since they are all lovable), we found our dream addition- Rose. One look
and we were hooked. We thought with Kylie turning 2, this
was a perfect age to have another.
Rose has become a perfect match to our family. She has taken to
being the baby of the house, and uses that to win people over. She
uses her puppy-dog eyes to get her way(sleeps where she wants, extra
bones, kisses, you name it).
She sleeps mainly with Kylie, and is never further than 5 feet away
from her. It's fun to watch then grow up together. Rose (why answers
to Rosie) has changed color a bit in her face, and has started to get
her true 'beagle' shape. I have sent a bunch of pictures to show our
children, and the happiness they fill our home with.
Thanks a bunch, and keep up the great work of both helping deserving
animals as well as making families complete.
hugs to everyone involved.
