To our friends at BRSM:

Matt and I recently tied the knot on July 20, 2007.  I definitely wanted to have Sunnie (Rosalind) be a part of our special day, so I decided to make her my honerary 'flower girl.'  We also used funny pictures of her as our table numbers.  It was a hit!

Instead of a traditional favor (you know, the kind that people usually throw away, anyway), we decided to make a donation to Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland.  We had a table set up full of info and pictures and everyone was really thrilled about our decision to donate to such a worthy cause.

Everyone at BRSM has done such an excellent job in committing to the rescue and care of unwanted, abused and abandoned BEAGLES!  Matt and I certainly thank you for all your hard work and I'm sure there are a lot of other beagle owners that feel the same way.

Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Love,

Holly, Matt & Sunnie

“Sunnie day, sweeping the clouds away….”  I have never met a dog whose tail wags as much as our little Rosalind, now Sunnie.  Her whole body shakes and it looks like she is dancing.  I just fell in love with those eyes…they make my heart melt. Sunnie is always available for free kisses and hugs. She has instantly become a part of our family and puts a smile on any face she meets.  Her markings are so unique and she loves to go for walks in the woods and car rides to see Cousin Jodi.  She is such a happy heart and we are so thankful for her. She is a very dedicated dog who listens well and follows us everywhere.  If you start rubbing her you better realize that you are stuck for the rest of the night. If you stop, a gentle tap on your arm from her paw will tell you “Hey! Why did ya stop!?”  Her face is so expressive it is like she understands every word we say. Maybe she does. When it is time for her to go in her crate, all we have to say is “Sunnie, let’s go get some cheese!”  She will do anything for cheese. She loves to watch the birds and when she see ones, she stops still and lifts one front paw up as though she is pointing to it. Maybe she has a little bit of Pointer in her. We consider ourselves to be as lucky as she is and are looking forward to many years with Sunnie Buns. Every day is an adventure with Sunnie. We can’t wait for tomorrow.

Thank you Beagle Rescue!!
