Macbeth found his forever home today!
His patience has paid off and his family has finally found him.  Macbeth is a lucky fella, but those of us who have known him know that his new family is just as blessed.  They couldn't have chosen better!

Bailiff & Tiller

We received this note from Bailiff on 8/10/09

Dear Beagle Rescue,

I’ve been at my forever home for three weeks now, but who’s counting, it’s forever!  I’m training my new family and they’re doing very well.  I go on walks several times every day, and get to sniff as much as I want.  I have my own doggie door, so I can sunbathe on the deck.  I have two beds, one upstairs in the bedroom for nighttime and one downstairs in the family room with my new pack, so I’ve learned how to do the stairs.  I get a bedtime treat every night, and lots of pets and hugs.  I even have a playmate, another beagle called Tiller.  She’s a girl, but that’s okay.  She sniffs my ears, and my food.  My people love me and take good care of me, so I think I’ll keep them.

Thanks to all the nice people who took care of me until I found my forever people,

Bailiff (Macbeth)

UPDATE 3/23/10

Macbeth (now Bailiff) has been with us about six months now and is the most adorable, precious dog.  He has been very affectionate ever since he arrived, and loves to cuddle up with us on the couch.  He sleeps on his dog pillow right next to our bed at night (and sometimes on the bed).  He gets along wonderfully with our other beagle – they usually sleep piled on top of each other or curled up next to each other on their pillows, and share their kennel and toys.  Bailiff is well loved, petted often, and happy.  We are grateful to BRSM for saving him and for letting us have him in our family.
