3/24/06 - It's been three quick months since my girlfriend and I brought Lucky home and into our lives.  His presence in my apartment has confirmed the best decision I have ever made.  Lucky (I didn't change the name, although the G is kind of dropped) is always there to greet me at the the door every time I come home.  Everyone that has come in contact with him absolutely adores him.  He is the perfect companion for my girlfriend and me.  You can read right into his eyes and know immediately that he is so happy to be here.  Lucky has also been therapeutic.  He has helped me to cure a bout with depression, and I'm medicine free.  Lucky is and will always be my medicine.  It's so exciting to come home and see him jump up and light up the house.  I've brought him back to meet my family at home in New York, and he wants to sit right in my lap while I'm driving!  He eats everything, but he adores cheese.  I've been able to give him baths by giving him cheese.  ! Thank you Beagle Maryland for giving me exactly what I needed.
