Luci is doing great!  She has really made herself at home.  Yesterday and today she has had her cousin Kylie (another beagle) visit.  They ran around the house chasing each other at 100+ miles per hour.  It was really funny to watch.  When Kylie left for the day, Luci fell asleep right away, totally exhausted.  She has a good appetite and loves her water.  She follows me everywhere and whines and cries when I leave the house.  I guess she must be "daddy's dog."  Of course she sleeps with us each night at the bottom of our bed and sleeps at least eight hours without moving.  When she wakes up, she crawls between the two of us and puts her head on my shoulder for another brief nap.  She has had no accidents in the house.  She enjoys the yard, but loves the warmth of our sofas.  We are so happy with her and I believe she is very happy having found a permanent home.                        1/27/07
