We adopted Jolly in August of 2006 and she really does live up to her name.  She is a former hunting beagle who likes nothing more than to sleep whenever she can and track rabbits when we take her for a walk.

We adopted Tia in November of 2006, and she definitely makes the family feel complete.  The girls get along great and do everything together.

Jolly is younger than Tia and prances around like a Lipizzaner stallion when she gets excited.  Jolly has a very laid-back personality and likes to sleep-in whenever she can.  Tia is an older lady who likes to be petted whenever your hands are free.  Tia is a former house-dog while Jolly is a former hunter, and there are definite differences between the two.  Jolly scarfs her food down as though it's her last meal.  She loves her crate and hasn't quite mastered the proper way to walk on a leash.

Tia chews every bite of food carefully, only eating until she feels full and she took some time getting used to her crate.  Tia will walk like a proper lady on a leash, right beside you--and will sit when asked.

They sleep together at night, cuddled up in their blankets and on their dog beds.  Their personalities compliment each other very well and we love them both.

Before adopting the girls, we had no preference of breed, but I think after having them, we'll always stick to beagles.
