September 4, 2011:

"Ivy is adjusting well to her new home. She is very good with the kids in the house. She knows who the "alpha" of the house is and is constantly by my side. We think she is part Jack Russell with her unusual markings, but is definitely all beagle when she sees a rabbit to chase and howl at. She loves her walks and gets along well with the other dogs we meet. We have been having some house training issues, but hopefully this will resolve itself with time."
