Gertie was named for the little girl in ET.  All she needs is a hat and a flower.  She is a real sweetheart who deserved to be taken care of by her human, but instead was dumped in the night drop at the shelter.   Gertie has a mammary tumor that has been allowed to grow quite large.  She is currently being vetted and we will post more on her condition. 

Although we've had enough dogs come through Beagle Rescue that we are no longer surprised at the apathy of some humans toward their pets, we never cease to be amazed at how very cruel they can be.

We would love to find a home for this senior girl where she will get all the loving care she needs.

Adoptive Status:  Will be spayed, UTD on shots, Heartworm Negative and micro-chipped by adoption.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner.
