We received this update on March 31, 2010. Unfortunately, Columbo crossed the Rainbow Bridge very shortly thereafter (April 24, 2010)
Columbo came to live with me and my four other creatures in December 2008, when he was 12 years old. He'd lived on the Eastern Shore and I got him through BRSM and Sister Mary's Sanctuary House. My friends call him the Mighty Columbo. He's very sweet and calm, with a crook in his tail. He loves car rides and food and sleeping on very soft, cushioned surfaces (he's kind of like the Princess and the Pea). He's dealing with an aggressive nasal tumor now, but he has so much spirit. He had a rhinoscopy recently that gave him a little more time to enjoy life and for all of us to enjoy more time with him. I'm trying to take him on lots of car rides and walks and give him yummy food. He's a good one.
