Buddy George has been with us for a little over a month now. His transition into our family has been amazingly seamless. He came house trained and obedient, as well as cute and lovable ? what more could you ask for! Inside the house he just loves to hang out with us. Outside the house he becomes the great hunter dog, master of the neighborhood. And did we mention that he just loves to eat and sleep? Sorry BRSM we are guilty of allowing him to gain a pound or two. But we do make him work for his treats.

We intended to rename him something more befitting his English heritage. But in the end we decided that he really is a buddy, so Buddy he remains. We also kept George to continue our family tradition of naming our pets after sitting presidents.

Thanks go to Buddy's foster parents for saving him from the dumpster last May and bringing him into our lives. We are truly lucky to have him.
