8/17/05 - I do not know if you remember us from several weeks ago, but we came down from Pa. to pick up the female previously known as Biscuit. Well, after trying about 100 names, we have discovered that she answers consistently to Dora.  Dora is her name.  Basically, she runs the house and everyone in it, and we love her. She has discovered that our big lab dog has his purpose, mainly that his size and strength can protect her too. The lab likes the idea that Dora is top dog. Dora's foot is fine now. She enjoys her daily shopping trips in the truck and her big runs in the country with her mom. She also  watches her favorite shows on TV; namely Discovery and Animal Planet. Her favorite activity is singing with her Dad. I would have to say that although he is more on key, Dora is definitely louder!

Biscuit, now Dora the Explorer, is formally adopted!
Again I thank all of you for providing us with this very much needed and welcomed new member of our family. Pictures to follow. Please ask the webmaster to change Dora's status: home forever!
