Ben was picked up as a stray in Westmoreland County Virginia.  After all the rescues came and went, there was Ben, left behind.  So one of our volunteers made an executive decision and decided ONE senior dog could make it into rescue.  It was a wise choice.  Ben was so dirty he didn't look tricolored.  He was so skinny he didn't look healthy.  But talk about character!

Now Ben has his own family and a fenced yard. He goes for walks and is loved.  Katie Ann who is Ben's best friend is going to go live with Ben soon.  Lucky twosome!
