Name

Bella is, indeed, the "canine couch potato" we were told she was. The good news is that she's slimmed down from a rotund 43 lbs when we adopted her to 31 lbs now. She's friskier and quite a bit healthier and we continue to watch her food intake and her weight. A well trained "counter cruiser," she's tall enough to knock anything off the kitchen table and quite a few things off the counter, too. We're working on that but inevitably, we'll get one or two "Bella crashes" daily, and they vary only by what target she's gone for this time.

We've been empty nesters since our son moved out a few years ago and our two delightful girls are a very welcome addition to our family.

Thanks for all you and the rest of the Beagle Rescue folks do for these animals. We'll be forever grateful.
