Banjo is one of those
dogs who's got everything going for him but a permanent home. He is
bright, calm, loving and quiet, making him a great choice for someone living
in a townhome, condo or apartment. He learned very quickly to relieve
himself outside and has been a delight to his foster mom.
His foster mom tells
this story: "When Banjo arrived at my home, he grabbed onto a stuffed
rabbit that was given to my beagle Franny and just would not let go!
That night and every night thereafter, he sleeps with the bunny, and in the
morning he takes the bunny off his bed and takes it to the pillow in the sun
room as though to say, "OK, this is my place for the day. Bunny calls
it!" And he just seems so happy..."
Banjo gets along very
well with his live-in foster sister, as well as visiting dogs. He has
learned to enjoy being picked up for a cuddle. Once, he slipped his
harness and ran for the bushes, but trotted right back and stood patiently
while having it put back on.
He likes attention, but
is not an in-your-face boy. Banjo is a very good and very easy
boy to have around.
