Ambrose is one of those dogs who was so nice at the shelter that the folks there went out of their way to see him into a rescue situation.  He is a beautiful red and white copper-nosed beagle who is (try to imagine it...) friendly and outgoing.  He gets along very well with the other dogs in rescue--and there are lots of them, so he will most likely be a good fit where ever he goes.  After a perfunctory sniff, he ignored the cat.  Like most beagles, we have not had to call him twice to supper.  He's prompt, cleans his plate, and will only steal another dogs food if they shrug and walk away.  (We're guessing at that last part.  We have yet to see a beagle shrug walk away from a bowl of food!).  Ambrose is young and lively and would love to have a kid or two to play with.  He's a nice, gentle dog who would be a great companion.

Adoptive Status:  Neutered, UTD on shots, Heartworm Negative and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love him.

Owner Aptitude Level:  Beginner.
