Just look at me!  Is it any wonder that I'm loved?

This picture was taken the first week in my new home.  Mom and Dad were sure relieved to see that I loved my new sister right away!

This is my "I have no idea how the trash got knocked over" look.  Pretty good, huh?  It should be.  I get lots of practice.  You should see my, "You're kidding me!  Somebody peed on the floor??!!" look.  It's priceless, if not convincing.

This is my goofy cousin, Diego.  He's not a beagle, but I love him anyway--except when he nips at my ears.  He thinks he is SOOOO funny!

5/18/05 - My mom sure took her time getting my story on the website!  You'd think I was the second child or something.  Hey!  Wait a minute!  I AM the second child!  So THAT'S why all the photos are of Penny!  Well, I've got plenty to offer, too!  I'm gentle as can be and just love to be held and petted.  I don't like it when my dad is trying to read, cause his hand stops moving and then I have to nudge him to keep petting me.

My older sister, Penny is sort of timid and doesn't have any teeth, so I help her out when I can by doing stuff like knocking over the trash can.  It works out well for her, cause I get in all the trouble and she reaps the benefits.  I like her OK, but she's not much good for playing and roughhousing, so I'm always glad when my cousin Diego comes over.  We just wrestle and play for hours!

Mom's note:  Sadie is such a loveable girl.  It's just not possible for her to sit close enough to you.  She is an absolute affection sponge and is the most gentle dog I've ever known.  

Two of our three human children have left the nest, and replacing them with beagle children has worked out wonderfully.  They don't argue (at least verbally), they don't have political opinions of their own (that we know of), and never ask to borrow the car.   They only ask for lots of attention, love, treats and walks...and that's just what they get!
